- What does refurbished IT mean for a business?
- It is used IT equipment (computers, smartphones, monitors, servers) collected from companies, then tested, cleaned, repaired if needed and refurbished to be resold with a warranty. For a business, it is an alternative to new equipment that cuts the hardware budget while supporting the same workloads.
- What is the difference between grades A, B and C?
- The grade describes cosmetic condition, not performance: Grade A means a device with virtually no signs of wear, Grade B a few light marks, and Grade C more visible marks. We recommend Grade A for equipping your staff. Functionality is guaranteed whatever the grade.
- Does the warranty cover business use?
- Yes. Every product is covered by a 12-month commercial warranty for parts and labor, valid for business use. OPP! Safe extends this coverage to 24 months; on eligible models, OPP! Safe+ extends it to 36 months with workshop preparation, the LongLife agent and next-day advance replacement.
- Can you recover VAT on refurbished equipment?
- It depends on each product's VAT scheme, shown on its product page. Most products are sold with standard, recoverable VAT. Some second-life devices fall under the margin scheme: VAT is not shown on the invoice and therefore cannot be deducted. Your account manager can steer the selection based on your constraints.
- Can we equip an entire fleet at once?
- Yes. Listed prices are business prices per unit, excl. VAT, with a discount from 10 units of the same model. Above 50 workstations, the project is priced on a custom quote, with the option to mix models and grades and to finance through leasing.
